Forgive me

Stop yelling, stop yelling. Please everyone, please. Don't beat me. I won't do it again, I promise.

That's out of my system. My mind is not where it should be. Whatever.

[sorry, this is the weekend of the 3rd and 4th] Outstanding weekend. Simply outstanding. DG, EG, J and I took a road trip. First, I just want to say that Launch really loves me. They are playing Blue Dress by Depeche Mode right now. They know me, they love me. Anyway, back to an awesome weekend. Now, I know I will not be able to give this weekend justice with just words because [in part] I believe we were on a different playing level. It was as if the four of us were in a similar state of mind that only allowed us to connect and really enjoy our surroundings. Like a freakin movie, everyone around us seemed to have minor roles or were just simply extras. We had Melissa, Kid Rock (of room 220), Wallie (not Juanie), the family of three, Bar owner, J's wifee, the has-been drag queen. David the "Black Provider," Chicken Breast Waitress and the whole pig port family.

Story unfolds: EG got the itch to go to the beach. I got off at 5 and hauled ass home to pack. I didn't know if we were staying one night or two or where we were going or what we were doing when we got there...nothing, but I packed. A suitcase, duffel and hygiene bag later I drove to DG's. We stalled, waiting on a call from EG for us to come over, so while waiting, we started watching a really great Mexican movie (it had the same actor from Y Tu Mama Tambien--hot). I think my weekend officially started at that moment. It was just dusk and DG had his door open and there was a slight breeze coming in. It seemed so perfect just sitting on "Hunior" (his sofa) and enjoying the movie and because this trip was so last minute, I was content to just stay at DG's.

Well, the call came and we went over to EG's. J was already there and we sort of hung out, still throwing the idea of going to the beach around. EG almost backed out, but with it already spoken about, DG wanted to go somewhere...so, we grabbed an atlas and decided to head to Port Lavaca.

Several hours and double tic-tac-toes later we were in Pig Port. We stopped at Buc-ees and asked for directions to the beach.

Sorry, I don't have the strength to finish. Maybe tomorrow. Instead of holding off until I completely finish, I think I will post what I have.

Coming up:
rest of 100 list
rest of Port Pig adventure
Christmas with my son
My family visit this past weekend
