How interesting. You know, I've always had a strange place in my heart for that song. When Marianne Faithfull was a teenager in the convent school, she would lead her girlfriends down to the river with a guitar in her arms. Once they sat on the banks, she would lead them in a casual performance of 'House of the Rising Sun.' It's magical and eerie.
