I'm in trouble....
JC (which I find out after the fact) knows how to pay people back. Okay, here's the story:
This, by the way, happened today at work. JG asked me if I would like to see something funny. Me? Sure, why the hell not. So she proceeds to show me a very old driver's license picture of JC when he first started working. He looks 15. And it's fucking funny as hell. In a good way. I have the urge to post it here but if he founds out...fuck it, look up. Anyway, I tell her I must have a copy. She not only obliges me (which makes her an accomplice) but enlarges the picture for me. I, of course, added the literature. So at this point I show BM and tell her I'm going to walk upstairs and ask a few people if they've seen this missing person. She has one better (which makes her an accomplice as well, right?). Stay with me, she scans the picture and tells me I should email it to some choice people including JC. Here's the email:
Hello everyone. I dont usually send stuff like this out but please help this family find their son!!!! Please look at the attached file. They are very close friends of mine. Please help!!!
Shit, it started....
I walk upstairs to get a few people's reaction. JC is calm. He tells me that it's the worst photo of him ever. And that I should know he owns a digital camera. Blah, Blah, Blah...right? He seems a little upset but not too bad.
I walk out and go and see LS and MP. This is their reaction: "We have worked with him. You messed up. This is Liz: "Corn, Corn, Corn there, corn everywhere and it lasted for about a year!!!"
What? She goes on: "Listen, Bev, who use to work here, felt sorry for JC one day because he forgot to bring his lunch and had nothing to eat. So... she gave him here corn-on-the-cobb that she apparently had already gnawed on."
side bar: Bev was one nasty young lady according to legend. I mean it's been said she was seen picking up and tossing her dog's 3 week old shit with her bare hands because it was in the way in her living room.
Okay, so of course the cobb was placed in his desk drawer later by LS and MP for a little laugh after he refused it.
Big fucking mistake. Hence the quote above, "Corn, Corn..."
JC placed corn in places corn shouldn't belong and for a year terrified MP with pictures of possums which she's terrified of. Some were even wearing little hats (a gay man's touch I suppose).
So the can of worms has been opened and I've made sure JC knew JG and BM helped!!
What's really scary is the fact that JC was so calm and collective, almost evil with his poker face on. Thinking, "son, you have no idea...."

Okay, I have a lot to say so sit down hush your mouth and listen...or not.
Anyway, I wanna start by saying men suck.
Next thing, this past weekend fucking rocked my ass off!
It started on Thursday at about 6:30 where JC and his beautiful Cuban girl/sidekick C? picked me up and we accidentally ran into A? and his friend (who's initials escape me) at Hickory Street were we found a parking spot so we had a couple of cocktails (where of course some Jazzy band was playing). From there it was over to Brown Bar (which is too conservative for me) to meet JC's new love interest. Had a Mexican Martini.
Next, we went to Fado's which was sort of stupid given the fact it was St. Patty's Day and it's an Irish bar. Anyway, dealt with that. C? got us to the front and inside...she knows how to work her shit! Next we headed over to the Fox and Hound to meet some friends of C? and JC...cool people...saw UT get defeated.
Next we went to a new club Karma...excellent setting but dead. Before getting there C? hailed a cab and took off to see some guy. Anyway, at Karma JC started checking people's IDs as they came in (we were bored). Left there and went to Rain...blah, blah, blah...heard DJP was there with someone...which completely pissed me off because he had been ignoring every fucking call and text message I sent him. So I text messaged him a couple of choice words.
Listen to this carefully....I'm so done. No, so done. I deleted his number and email from everything yesterday and put his apartment key in my kitchen junk drawer and off my keychain.
So we left and went to a bar and saw a cool Japanese band. We danced to really cool 80's music. Left and had a night cap at JC's with J. Walked home: Called DJP, he answered, I said my peace. Did I mention I'm done...
Friday: Called in. Slept til 1 or 2. Went out. Saw The Go! Team. Great show. Hung out with B.
Riot, had a great time.
Saturday: Started with a bottle of wine with a couple of friends who live downtown. Great space, great view and cool neighbor's. Talked about Andy Warhol and music. Walked to get beer. Meet some people from Houston. Great conversations. Meet their friend they nicknamed "Tragedy." Fitting, sort of. I enjoyed the youth he oozed. Talking about Britney, Lisa Lohan and just being fabulous. He brought over a bottle of champagne for Buddha's Sake. I must admit, after we flirted and he licked my face at the pre-opening party for Fabric at Apple Bar...I had a slight crush. Left with JC and A. Went to OCH's then I left them to catch the Brazilian Girls at Eternal. But was side tracked by a band from Canada who was giving out free beer out of there tour van. Too fun, I called JC and A over for a couple of glasses. I was off again to Eternal.
Now listen to this carefully...I fucking love Brazilian Girls...Read on:
BRAZILIAN GIRLS 1am, Eternal Born of the collective New York cultural club Nublu, the Brazilian Girls bring together two delicious aural traditions: the ambient jam band and the electronic diva. Like Madonna, Jane Siberry, Björk, and Suzanne Vega, Brazilian Girls' Sabina Sciubba steps out as a distinctive presence. Kate X Messer
Sabina Sciubba was born in Rome and raised in Munich and Nice
The fucking show rocked and I meet Sabina after the show. She wore like this piece of white fabric over her eyes and had the coolest accent. She is so fucking adorable!!! Went home and did nothing yesterday except drink water and vegg...
Question? Comments? Feel free.. have a great week
